Canon has introduced a new flagship professional photo printer, the 17″ imagePROGRAF PRO-1000. Offering a new print head, ink set and image processor, it boasts an L-series-esque red line to reflect is top-of-the-line specification. The new print head is 50% larger than that of the Canon PIXMA PRO-1, claiming faster print speeds and better anti-clogging technology. A new LUCIA PRO 11 ink set boasts an increased color gamut, and the L-COA PRO image processor combines with 1GB of internal memory to manage workflow.
